“ Akelaapan “….!
The Loneliness/ Solitude story. This is researched article. Suggested by a friend.. A challenge I tried....
Meaning of both are same. But loneliness is a feeling where the connections we need are greater than the connections we have . But Solitude is independence. One expresses the pain of being alone and the other expresses the glory of being alone….
So what do we have or what do we want ….” There’s a time
where we want a ‘me’ time .
A “ Akelaapan’…….lekin….which one ? ….you decide !!
We often hear our inner voices…don’t we ? ……That’s just
amazing…you know….the voices speak to us like they are the only ones in our
lives who think about us …But to hear it …we need to be in solitude , even in
crowded places …!
What an interesting combination !!. One , having this fear
of being alone and the other , a desperate need for solitude and the solitary
experience !.. WOW !!
“ Akelaapan bhi achha hai “
Loneliness is sad…yaaar !..but solitude is something else
..It’s a time out from our busy lives.. It is what we all look forward to when
you want to be alone ..It is something , I guess…we all need , from time to
time..!
You know…some people can’t stand being alone …But being in
solitude ..we sometimes find ourselves…where we can connect with our bonds
..that are deeper than the bonds of fear and anger..!
Being alone …sometimes , is not too bad …you know …You can
be yourself , do anything you want without caring about what other people think
about !. I mean ….you’re free…!!
I think it’s an opportunity to discover who we are and to
figure out why we are always alone…
It is not about being lonely.. but it is all about enjoying
our free time being alone …hahahahaha..
Let’s think about it…We have an increasingly connected
society…We can be lonely ..but we do experience very less solitude…!
The connected society ..sometimes strain your mental
abilities…It is also better sometimes …to be in solitude as the mind gains back
the strength and learns to lean upon itself..!
This could be underestimated too..for all we know….we’re
often underestimated because we’re quiet. But they forget that we know more
than we say , we think more than we speak , and we observe more than we know…!
Right ?
Let’s use Solitude constructively. This is in order to be
open to creativity…The order to overcome the fear of being alone !
Let’s not get carried away now , by all this ..
“ In Solitude , listen to your heart , for at that moment ,
it speaks nothing but the truth “
-Michael Bassey Johnson
